Disinterest in Reading!

I haven't read any book for maybe two months already - since we got back from our vacation. The last book I've read was Yours Until Midnight by Lisa Kleypas.

I have tried reading, but nothing has interest me so far. The only thing I always look forward to was checking PEx for any news, bts, pictures and articles about Kimerald.

WWAAAAAAAA This is not me at all! LOL!

Nothing has made me lost interest in books/reading except Kimerald. LOL! Should I blame them? LOL Just kidding.

I need to my passion for reading back!

I am struggling with my writing!

UGH!

I have been writing a fanfic for quite some time but I haven't finished it until now because I have been struggling, shameful though it is to admit.

Words don't come as easily as before and the correct terms often escape me while writing this fanfic. So I really need to practice, practice, practice!

I also need to get back to reading and talking/conversing in English. My book forum is composed of members from different parts of the world so I always speak in English and English came easily then because of practice.

Lately though, I spent more time in PEx talking in Tagalog and chatting with my fellow Filipino Kimerald BAOs so my Tagalog has been sharpened.

I've noticed now that I've had an easier time thinking and speaking in Tagalog, when before I had a very hard time. It's quite good actually, I even think that is very great that my Tagalog has greatly improved. LOL!

However, I don't want to struggle with my English also. So I need to shift my 'thinking' mode to English again. :D

What makes me cry

It's not heavy drama, it's not problems, it's not even heartaches that make me shed tears. It's good news and little acts of kindness.

Just a while ago, I was reading the news about Charice singing a duet with Celine Dion. Reading the news made me teary-eyed because I feel so happy for Charice.

Watching Oprah and her making people's dreams come true also make me cry. It's because in the world today, we always hear news about terror, crimes, corruption and such that sometimes I wonder if there is still goodness in this world.

I also remember watching Extreme Makeover House edition I think, that the episode had me in tears too.

So news about people doing good deeds for others, selflessly sharing themselves make me bawl like a baby. For example, if there is calamity and I hear news of people helping their fellowmen even to the point of risking their lives can fill my eyes with tears faster than a fully-opened faucet.

These acts made me realize that despite the current situation of the world, despite the unsecurity, despite the endless wars and battles, there is still hope. And that all the goodness has not thoroughly left this world.

On Blogging....

It's been ages since I've updated my blog decently - meaning, writing something sensible. LOL!

I've been so busy these Ramadan and I thought I'd have enough time to do more extracurricular activities. LOL

My work ends at 2 PM indeed, but it took me almost an hour to arrive home, when normally it would only take 20 to 30 minutes. That's because the roads are very congested at around that time because the ministry, the schools and it seems, a lot of offices are getting out at that time too.

Then, I have to cook our lunch so I usually finish cooking at around 3:45 and that's when Sharie and Liz come home. Then we would eat late lunch together.

Afterwards, the rest of my time is spent in front of my laptop, Pexing, Chatting and downloading songs until it's time to sleep already.

Aside from that usual activities, LOL I had to do the banner for JMF coz it was our third anniversary last Sept. 6 and I had to change the look of our board. LOL And I have not posted as regularly there as before. I am bad! :bop:

Then Anne asked for help designing her blog. :D And since I love creative challenges I volunteered. Hehehe...

And also, I am now trying my hand at writing fan fiction - KG fan fiction to be precise. I have already made one before, using JM's historical characters but it's still hanging. I haven't finished it. Hopefully, I can finish mine this time. Pordalab, inshallah, I can! :D

It's Ramadan already!

It started on the 1st of September and will last for one month.

Work is shortened for us.
